Dismal sale. Nearly everything is discounted less than it was in previous sales, with only a couple of exceptions. With the 2024 rules coming into play, you'd think they would try harder to encourage purchases of this older stuff.
It is 15% off the list price of the book. That is a pretty standard sale, particularly when it is just a random discount and not a significant sale holiday.
I guess Wizards can just make up a sale holiday and give players a discount when there was no reason to do so… and players will still look a gift horse in the mouth and complain about it.

Well, this close to the big fall sale season, I'd sort of rather they do no sales until they are ready to do big holiday 25-50% sales. A few dollars off is nice, but just manages to remind me that there are better sales just around the corner, so buying now is sort of not worth it.

Candlekeep is 40% off. Considering it is commonly ranked in the top 10 adventure books for 5e, I would say that is pretty awesome if you don't already have it.

Sadly (happily?), I already own that one. It's fun. I do wish more stuff cycled through with the 40% though.

Is it over already? The sale links on social link to a bunch of products with zero discounts. Not even a sale end date on their sale posts either smh...
Wow. Three bucks off.
Eh, more like $3-6 depending on title, but yeah, not much of a sale beyond filler for the marketplace until Cyber Monday rolls around.

And no Legendary Bundle discount with the sale, looks yet another reason to stop spending money here.
CENSORSHIP IS THE TOOL OF COWARDS and WANNA BE TYRANTS.
What I want to know is why The Book of Many Things is never included in any of the sales! I mean, it's not an Apple product. Come on!

I mean, this sale was probably just them trying to squeeze a little more profit into the quarter, looking at the timing.

Probably. Like I said, I think it was mostly them trying to bump their end of quarter numbers up a bit.
There'll almost definitely be another, hopefully better, one in about 6 weeks for Black Friday/Cyber Monday
