Does anybody know if there's any chance DND/WOTC can get the license to use Rick & Morty? Like is there any license openings? And a side question, does anybody know why the license wasn't renewed?
Will? Probably not. It obviously wasn't working to the satisfaction of both sides, so the licence was revoked. The chances of them coming to an agreement again are slim. WotC has less need to negotiate downwards, so the situation on that front has worsened rather than improved.
I don't know why, but the rumour I heard was that it was Rick & Morty's end rather than WotC (which is why WotC being in a more solid position makes it less likely to work), and I suspect it was a disagreement on how much should be paid for the R&M branding. It usually boils down to that.

Thanks so much. It has been on my mind forever.
Yours sincerely,
