Hi I've been building some new characters for a campaign for friends using the 2024 PHB. I noticed Druids now have Aid always prepared. Looking through the classes features I didn't find any text to state a reason for this. The characters also had the Guide background and it did not say anything about this either. Is this a Bug or am I missing something?

Hi! The Aid spell being always prepared for Druids in the 2024 PHB might be an intentional update rather than a bug. Some class features and spell lists were adjusted in the updated edition for balance or thematic reasons, and Druids may now have Aid as part of their always-prepared spells. It's not necessarily tied to the Guide background. If it wasn't explicitly mentioned, it's likely part of the broader spellcasting revisions for Druids. You might want to check any recent errata or updates from official sources just to be sure!

With the 2024 PHB open in front of me, I can find nothing to indicate that the Druid should always have Aid prepared. It seems to be a DDB bug.

I am having the same issue. I just noticed it today when leveling up to level 3
Noticed this too. Can't find anything in the text for why it should be prepared, so I'm assuming it's a bug with D&D Beyond.
Is this a problem?

The bug report forum is here
is there a way to move this thread to the other Forum? I wasn't sure if it was a bug so I put it in general discussion incase it was not a bug
+1
Same issue: Upping a druid to level 3 today, and AID is listed as always prepared. I can't work out the reason.

It is if it takes up a prepared spell slot
