I am pretty new to DnD and as luck has it, The new Player's Handbook was coming out. The place where I go to play received copies of it early, so I decided to get one. I chose the Alt. Cover and opened it up, and I noticed something. It was printed UPSIDE DOWN! I've only seen one other person post about this print on a Reddit post, and I'd like to know how rare it is and how much it is worth.
Hi there, Your correct I have only seen one other presented as printed wrongly.
I'm not sure worth is the right question to ask? You certainly have a somewhat 'unusual' book in your persession. Are you going to ask to have it replaced?
Probably less than what you paid for it right now.
In the future? Maybe it'll be worth more. I'm dubious, rare misprints aren't so rare. It'd be a gamble.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
Odds are it's never going to be worth more than a properly printed copy.
If you want to get it replaced, you quite likely won't be able to get the collector's cover; there was only one run of those, and it's probably all gone.
