Hey whoever reads this I’m a new dnd player and I’ve wanted to play for a while and I an wondering is it a good idea to get the players hand book as a new player because there’s some stuff in there like subclasses that look cool like circle of the moon Druid but 30$ is a lot for it so I’m wondering should I buy as a new player or wait for now

It's entirely a personal decison based on your circumstances. Having said that I'd definitely hold off spending too much money until you find a group to play with, they might have rules on whether they're playngh with 2014 or 2024 rules which will impact your decision and they will also probably have stuff you can share rather than spending money up front. Failing that there are the free rules which give access to all classes and one subclass each, I know groups that have happily run their first campaign using just this without spending a penny/cent

You have to decide if it's worth paying for, but if you want to play it is definitely worth having.
