Oathbreaker not showing up on character builder

Hello all i am having trouble with my paladin. I have read what i could find and it says i need to buy the DM handbook but i have bought it and the players hand book and i still do not have the oathbreaker option. If someone could help me that would be great thank you.

Wow why would they remove the oathbraker from 2024 that sucks.

The Oathbreaker Paladin and Death Domain Cleric were both in the 2014 DMG as examples of how you could create villains using the same process you create player characters. Since I don't think they ever really got used that way and instead became standard player options it makes sense to remove them from the DMG and save any updates for a future player book

Also they probably want to retool the presentation of Oathbreaker a little since too many people look at the name and assume it’s the default result of any failure to keep an Oath, even though the Paladin sidebar on oaths and the Oathbreaker description clearly show it’s not.

They may also want to take the opportunity to retune some of its powers, since as it's written it gives boosts to creatures that are hostile to it, like a necromancer's zombie minions.

Honestly, I’d rather they kept some of that, because the new pattern of stat blocks are trash for NPCs who are supposed to exist for more than one scene, particularly when it comes to what are ostensibly supposed to be casters. Though the bare bones nature of the “Creating a Creature” section of the DMG has me concerned they’re not planning to seriously support homebrewing creatures anymore. Hopefully they’ll at least keep the 2014 DMG available.

I'm just saying that having an aura ability that buffs based on creature type rather than whether or not they're allies of the character seems badly written.

I'm having the same problem. All content is available and toggled on, but oathbreaker is not showing up. 

Did you ever figure it out? Same issue :(

I don't own it. The GM bought it but for some reason it isn't showing up or able to share it. Thanks for clarifying that it should be in the 2014 DMG :)

Yes he is sharing and that is how I am able to build my character. And he's trying to share the DMG but even though he bought it for some reason it says he doesn't have it and somehow someone is sharing it with him so he can't share it with me. 

Are we still having the bug where if you bought something à la carte it says you don’t own it and it’s being shared even if you bought the whole thing eventually? Could be that 

It's not a universal bug, it's working fine for me...but it could be what's causing the issue for Darth. Their DM should contact customer support.

IIRC that was about when an entire book was bought as part of a bundle, it showed up on the new Library screen as shared. I thought that had been fixed, but who knows.

If you bought the book bit by bit as à la carte and ended up with all of it then it registered as a bundle and produced the same bug. I had a few showing as shared even though I owned them 

Yes that sounds like what is happening. He has bought all the books a couple times it seems. Thanks everyone! 

So my DM is sharing the 2014 DMG and I see it in my library and everything and yet there still is no option for selecting Oathbreaker. I also have 5e core and expanded rules checked. It's not a big deal but it is annoying. What am I doing wrong?

This character is in the campaign he has uploaded it several times and it says in the campaign window that he is sharing source material. 

Can I contact support on this issue? 

We play on foundry. 

As in you're linking DDB to Foundry and using the books there? That will most likely not be covered by DDB customer support. They would only cover internal issues. If you have issues with Foundry, you need to be asking them or whoever created the connection. It could easily be that DDB has changed coding and so made it incompatible. That's their lookout though - DDB doesn't officially support that.
