Is the 8$ off any sourcebook coming back? or are we stuck with 25% off
because 25% off (as it is now) is not nearly as good, and what made me want to start a online collection, was the good deal on the cheaper stuff and even get a few 29.99$ books , but now even on the expensive 29.99$ books its only 7,5$ off not 8$ as advertised, and even less on the cheaper stuff.
guess ill stick to hard copies if this is the deal.

Correct, the 25% deal is what will remain active for this code throughout duration of this promotion.
Please let me know if I may further clarify. Enjoy your weekend!
well i buy stuff of the books in time of what i need. so 25% off for mi is like 2.5 dlls of the 7 that will apply for the full price , i will have tu buy full price but when i can afford it, but yes i agree is a nice discount.
25% off is a great deal, and par for what the best deals have been in the past. Stick to hard copies if you want, but you'll be missing out on some amazing value and features you can't get anywhere else!
NOTTHROWINGAWAY - 25% off every book (not bundles) in your cart in a single purchase! MYSHOTATLEGENDARY - $170 off the Legendary Bundle!
The banner said it was only on a single book so that's how I used it... I would have added at least another book had I known. As of a few hours ago, there was 3 different descriptions (original post says - 8$ individual book, banner said 25% single adventure (now says individual books), this post says 25% single cart). Can I have another shot at this now that the confusion is dispelt?
Actually I don't understand why the coupon is single use if it's any number if books? Can't we just have the coupon for the whole month?

You can contact customer service about the initial confusion, they'll probably resolve it for you (e.g. let you use the code once more, or refund your purchase so that you can buy all the books you want with it). They're generally pretty helpful.
As for the other issue, that's something DDB staff would have to answer. I assume it's a business consideration - they want to boost sales by giving a code so people will buy stuff, but they don't just want to run a flat discount on every single purchase for the entire month.
Oh well, I don't think we will see anymore flat discounts on individual books. This was their second attempt and the second time they had to fix the discount. The flat discounts on bundles are still a good deal.
The problem with flat discounts is that you could cheat the system with buying books cheaper than the discount in order to get a bigger discount than intended. And while not verified, I think the discount provided by flat discounts gets registered as the amount you paid in order to get cheaper bundle prices. This was verified with the sourcebook bundle and legendary bundle codes last time, where the 75$ discount on the sourcebook bundle was counted in the amount which is calculated to reduce the price of the legendary bundle and the legendary discount of 150$ was still applicable so you practically got a 225$ discount on the legendary if you bought the sourcebook bundle first.
I'm theorizing here, but going from scratch if you bought 32 items with the flat per book discount of 8$ (256$ total) and if that was included in the price reduction of the legendary bundle, you could buy the legendary bundle of 6x 29.99$ books with the 170$ discount, to get a total discount of 426$ on the legendary bundle whose original price is 637.19$. If this is the case, we will never again see flat price on individual books, as this is not the intended discount :). It would be nice if those who got the original NOTTHROWINGAWAY flat price diacount could check by which amount their legendary bundle price has been reduced.
It only reduces the bundle price by the amount you've actually spent. So if you're going to buy the legendary bundle it's almost irrelevant what you've previously paid, you'll always end up spending the same "total" for the legendary bundle.

So....you're saying if you can't cheat the company by manipulating a savings program they have no obligation to offer in a way that was not intended....you're going to throw a hissy fit and go buy physical that costs twice as much and doesn't come with the digital benefits of Beyond? Okay. Bye, Felicia.

In addition you are already getting AT LEAST 25% off the hardcover price...and can carry the entire collection anywhere! Add all the discounts available (25% off list, 15% for legendary bundle, and occasional one off discounts like this 25%) and you are easily at 53% off hardcover cost. I’d call that a steal... and I am grateful for this service.

Can you apply both codes together?
Edit: Just realized the Legendary bundle is not "a book"

nooo 25% off , i will have to wait for other special then
Honestly 25% off is still pretty good and roughly comes to $8 off a full price, traditional book.
I think everyone who used it knew that the $8 thing had to be an oversight.
Another medical problem. Indefinite hiatus. Sorry, all.
25% is actually pretty good compared to some recent sales (20%, 15%). You might be waiting for something worse.

Really nice to have a Legendary Bundle code be active on my birthday. Just treated myself to it. Cheers. ; )

Will there be an offer code for source Book bundle at some point?

Thank you much!
Just put the books that you would get from the bundle in your cart and you will get 25% off.
