So I used RIVALS19 to get XGtE, SCAG and WGE. I gather these codes are single use. Therefore, what would be the best way to get a reduction on DMG, VBoF and Tortle? I think going Legendary would be overdoing it
Any advice?
Mathematically, buying the legendary bundle with a coupon without buying any books first is the best value. The more books you buy (even with coupons) the less savings the legendary bundle offers.
Thanks for the info, but shelling out $400 (which becomes a heck of a lot in Canadian dollars) is a lot compared to my intent to just be a player and adding that I already have some source books. The Sourcebook Bundle is reduced for what I have already but there is not code for it of its own
Does anybody know if regular 20% codes like RIVALS19 work against the complete Source Bundle? Or does the BELEGENDARY25 one maybe? I think they should because technically all the books in the source bundle qualify, but I have read the bundles codes are different and not stackable with the integrated bundle discount unless specifically stated.
The Source Bundle is an easier pill to swallow, specially if you already have several source books. At least you got 3 books discounted AGoudreault , I wasted RIVALS19 code by using it on a single book purchase (Volo's) not knowing yet the codes were single user per customer.
The bundle codes are for specific bundles, afaik. You make a good point though, i i ask on Discord. If i get a response I'll let you know.
RIVALS19 and other codes like it won't work on bundles, but it will work on all books in the bundle. You don't get the bonus of 10% on future purchases if you go that route though.
The PAXSOUTH19 one doesn’t seem to work for me. But I was given FACEBOOK20 in a FB post (which I cannot find again - wanted to know if there was a date limit) for source books (not bundle)

I've never seen a date limit posted. RIVALS19 has been active over two months now.
As soon as next paycheck comes down I'll attempt to get MM and MToF using the facebook code, I hope it still works around next week. I'll report back of course.
I got an add for FACEBOOK20 in my feed, but the store says it doesn't apply to anything in my cart - is there a discount for the Sourcebook Bundle? I already have what I really want in paper, but I would buy the bundle if it were in the ~$200 range...
Davothree: if you do not rate the 10% future books as necessary, or if some of the bundled books do not interest you, I would suggest trying to place each book you want in your cart rather than the bundle and apply the reduction code to that

If you want to spend a little more you can get legendary bundle for 25% off with: BELEGENDARY25
Thanks, I got the 20% off of PHB, SCAG, Volo, XGtE, and WGtE books - all five for $112. This seems to let me see all the character creation info - races, classes, backgrounds, feats, etc. That's what I was looking for.
How does pricing work for bundles if you already own some materials in the bundle? I'm asking because if codes can apply to an entire purchase of single books, I'm thinking it'd make sense to fill a cart with all books in the Sourcebook Bundle except for one, use a 20% code, check out, and then buy the Sourcebook Bundle separately to nab the 10% future discounts.

Is this feasible?
Unfortunately, this won't grant you the savings you are expecting (if fact you will spend as much money as if you had bought the bundle without buying the books first).
The way the piecemeal discount works is it discounts the amount of money you have spent on peices of the bundle, but not the value of those peices.
For example if a bundle of 2 books costs 50$ and each book costs 30$, and you buy 1 book for half price (15$), the bundle will still cost 35$. Make sense?

Yeah, totally makes sense! Thanks for the info on that. I think I might try to hold out then and wait for a Sourcebook bundle code if it ever pops up...

Code is up for books. No legendary code though. PAXSOUTH19

RIVALS19 (PHB) works & FACEBOOK20 (Monster Manual) work as of 7/22/2019
Remember that the codes work for multiple books, as long as it's an individual purchase. Just add the books you want to your cart before checkout.

Used FACEBOOK20 on 7/22/2019 for 20% off my purchase. Bought Volo's, Xanathar's, and Tomb of Annihilation.

AGoudreault: thanks, that actually comes out better, since I'm only looking for race/class/spell stuff, not campaign sourcebooks.
Davothree: Remember that the reduction goes on full books only, not partial parts thereof
