Did anyone find the code for Amazon buy 2 dnd books get 1 free? My carts ready but no codes or discounts to be had that I can find.
There's not a code. If you go to the 3-for-2 sale, and put three of the offered books in your cart, they will subtract the price of the cheapest of the three at checkout. But when I went through the sale, it didn't look like they had every D&D book in the sale. But there's a core book box set for 80-something, and I think all the basic core books, and the Eberron book, and maybe a couple more.
EDIT: Looking through the sale, in addition to Eberron and the core book gift set, there's Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Descent into Avernus, DM guide and Monster Manual.
Looks like the available books [that qualify for the deal] are:
Eberron: Rising from the Last War
Baldur's Gate: Descent into Avernus
Xanathar's Guide to Everything
Ghosts of Saltmarsh
Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes
Waterdeep: Dungeon of the Mad Mage
Core Rulebook Gift Set
Acquisitions Incorporated
Waterdeep: Dragon Heist
Dungeon Master's Guide
Tales from the Yawning Portal
Monster Manual
Art & Arcana (a great look at the history of D&D)
Warriors and Weapons & Monsters and Creatures (books to help kids understand // get into D&D)
That said, discussion of the Amazon deal should probably be taken to another thread, rather than giving everyone who's posted in/followed this thread notifications every time someone says something about Amazon. People follow this thread for DDB coupon codes, not other discussion.
It wont even be worth purchasing the legendary bundle unless they give at least a 50% discount code.
The legendary bundle was listed as $473 last week when I added it to my basket and now today, the day before they've hinted at giving a discount code the price is now $615.
Meaning that a 25% discount on the current price will only be $11 cheaper than the bundle was last week.
James - No, I haven't purchased anything before and was hoping to purchase it all at once. They'll need to add a 50% discount code to get 25% off what the price was last week.
According to the D&D Beyond Twitter, they’re entire staff is out until Monday. Of course you cant blame them for that, but that means no Black Friday sale. Its possible there is gonna be a Cyber Monday sale. Hold on y’all, we might get something good!
Unfortunately, Amazon sale ends on Monday, for the people that are considering that.
Like at 12AM Monday or end of the day Monday?
Neither. The 3 for 2 Amazon promotion is already over.

50$ worth of books came out last week. Then there is sales tax.

Would the sales tax add up to more than $100 for a $50 book?

I've been monitoring the price of the legendary bundle lately and it definitely wasn't $473 last week. It sounds like you may have been logged out when you added it to your cart today and it wasn't discounting titles you already own that got you the $473 number last week. As others have said $50 of source books have come out recently which raised the price of the bundle by $42.50 due to the %15 discount.

No, but it could increase the price of a 500$ bundle by another 60$ (depending on how much the tax is). I don't know where the extra 30-80$ (depending on if your first price was pre-tax) came from.
I'm pretty sure the legendary bundle broke 500$ before or around the time the essential kit came out though, so I don't think that number is right.

Possibly new releases?
If the 2 prices they listed are truly only a week apart, then the only new releases are ERftLW and DDvRaM, totaling 50$ already accounted for.

I was monitoring it too and I only added it to my basket as it definitely showed up as $473. As I said above I don't own anything else on dndbeyond, so there was no miscalculation due to previous purchases. If it were more than that then I wouldn't have even bothered adding it to my basket. As I live in the UK, i couldn't justify spending a good £350 on books that I already own in book format, but i could spend £260 (with a 25% discount on the USD listed price). And all of a sudden the price seems to have increased by 25% prior to a discount code being released. Which is a common practice with businesses to trick people into thinking they're getting a good deal, especially on black friday/cyber monday.
Just checked the archived marketplace webpage on waybackmachine and you seem to be mistaken, as of October 15th the price was $573.49 rather than $473.

They don't price the legendary bundle arbitarily, you can calculate the price yourself by going to the marketplace page, adding up the total of all the books and taking off 15%. The price of those books hasn't changed so the only thing that can increase the price of the bundle is more content being added. I'm not sure why you saw it cheaper before maybe you had the old "legendary25" discount code applied or something
Would you all mind taking that discussion to another thread, you're notifying everyone with each post and none of the posts are about a Cyber Monday coupon.

The subtotal price has not changed to for me... are you seeing the tax increase now?
Mephinyx - have you already purchased content before? The cart may have been deducting previous purchases and showing you the calculated new cost.
I've been looking at the bundles for a couple weeks now, and the prices have all been the same for me. I have yet to purchase anything though...

Coming up Noon EST, and still not seeing a Cyber Monday code. Was looking at the Sourcebook bundle, but... ah well.
It’s not Cyber Monday, so I’m not sure why you’d expect anything today.
Because I work Sundays and get my days muddled sometimes. #FailedWISCheck :P

Not sure what you would have seen.. Could it be that you saw the UK prices?
The $616 (USD) that it is now, equals to about 477 GBP.
I've checked the WayBackMachine for the last couple of months, and so can you:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/https://www.dndbeyond.com/marketplace
June 8th: $488.55
June 24th: $514.04
September 17th: $565.00
October 15th: $573.49
November 21st: $615.97
