Looking at pages 3-5 (last year's Black Friday/Cyber Monday), there were no codes for the Bundles but they did run 3 separate standard codes. Let's hope for the best.
Must not be any active codes. I’ve tried Rivals19 and a few others. I figured they would at least run a small one due to Halloween coming up. But it looks like I’ll wait till turkey day to get books.
(even if you apply it and don't use it, it's gone forever).
This is incorrect. The code is only used when you check out with it. I've tested codes before to confirm that they worked without checking out and was still able to use those codes when I did check out several weeks later.
Sales Tax will be implemented 5th of November Edit: Not all regions implemented on the 5th, but they will start rolling it out then for the regions that have been setup.
Why they applying Sales tax all of a sudden? That makes no sense.
How does it not make sense? What doesn't make sense is that they didn't apply it or plan for it from the get go. It was a pretty egregious oversight and, quite frankly, the IRS are more than likely being pretty generous in giving them the leeway and time to activate it without penalty. Now, don't get me wrong, it sucks, I hate it, especially since as a non-US resident the effect is effectively compounded, but, you know, taxes, man, we all gotta die sometime.

They've been talking about it for months, so it's not all that sudden. They have to implement it, so i guess it makes perfect sense in a way. We've been lucky so far I guess :-)
I'm not 100% up to speed on US sales tax as it pertains to eCommerce, but the general jist is that you don't have to charge sales tax until your company reaches a certain threshold (often called a sales 'nexus') in a state. From the looks of it, DDB has been unable to put off reaching this threshold anymore, so they need to start charging sales tax.
Sales tax with online sales is a weird one in the US, so it's not surprising that they've tried to put off the mess for as long as legally possible. But like others have said, they've announced it several times in various updates, on twitter etc.
Rivals19 still working
Any codes for the legendary bundle up?
Not at the moment. There used to be and probably will again. At the moment (afaik) there is only 1 active code and it is books only.
Black Friday sales are coming up, hoping for the best! :D
Storyteller, funmaker. I love to play D&D and also DM! :)
No active codes right now, but I'm sure they'll run a special event soon, probably around Valentines I'm guessing. shareit vidmate
Rivals19 is active right now. And there will likely be a big sale on black friday (there has been the last 2 years).
I dont recall there ever being any Valentine's sales or codes either.
Do you recall what their black friday sales were last year?

Rivals19 is still active, but you can't apply the same code more than once (even if you apply it and don't use it, it's gone forever).

Have you already claimed it? I just tried rivals19 and it did not say invalid code.
