Total Beginner Looking For Help

Hi.  I am a total beginner and I am looking to join groups on D&D Beyond, Roll20 and Discord as I am going to need a lot of help...lol

Hello and welcome. If you have a game store in your area that is a great source for finding groups to play in. Here on DnDBeyond there is a separate forum devoted to online groups:

Do you have any of the books currently?

Both dndbeyond.com and dnd.wizards.com have basic "how to play" starter guides if you don't want to buy the books yet.

Dndbeyond has a very basic free character creator  https://xender.vip/

And there are a lot of good free player/semi professional written premade adventures. Dmdave is probably one of my favorites

This is all assuming you don't want to spend any money yet to try it

c1arvet......I have both the 2014  and  2024  players handbooks coming as I wanted to cover all bases....lol

 I'd recommend canceling the 2014 if possible.

The 2014 copy is from ebay and did not cost me a lot.
