just play what you want. the game does not require anything to succeed. You can play 4 fighters and do fine.
I'm almost certain if you field a party of 4 Fighters in Solasta you will fail.
There may be some specific challenge in solasta I am not thinking of that wont allow it, but I am fairly sure I could do it. It would be incredibly boring, but doable. Though I never did the dlc which raised the level cap to 16, so maybe something there would be impossible. But up to and including level 12 sure. Killing things fast just seems to work pretty solidly.
But I am not sure solasta is the best metric, they only use ogl material and their own subclasses which alters class balance a bit and CPRGs frequently skew encounter balance due to the ability to save etc before hand.
I made the Fighter, Cleric, Wizard, Rogue group for a duet game (wife is DM'ing, I'm playing all 4 characters) where we ran through DDEX01. Next campaign we do, I'll be going for some less specific classes, Barbarian, Druid, Sorcerer, Artificer, then I was thinking after that, a Paladin, Ranger, Warlock, Bard for a party where everyone can heal but no-one is super strong at it.

CLAS (aka class with one s)
C-Cleric
L-Long range
A-Advanced dps (my suggestion aarakocra sorcerer or wizard)
S-Super tank (like a paladin or barbarian)
my personal favorite party for fighting
I like this one but personaly replace bard with cleric
Gnomadins.

4 PC's, no multiclassing?
Hmmmmmm...
Well, I would probably use the BARD system.
B -Bard
A-bArd
R-baRd
D-barD
The party is a band on tour!
I was gonna go with barbershop quartet (and all Tortles, obviously).

Nah. I've never done exactly that because boring, but a pure martial party is perfectly possible (pure rogue I gave up on, though).
Unless the fourth member is the roadie, in which case they're a barbarian. Though that class also works for the drummer.
Find your own truth, choose your enemies carefully, and never deal with a dragon.
"Canon" is what's factual to D&D lore. "Cannon" is what you're going to be shot with if you keep getting the word wrong.
Champion Fighter for consistent damage and being able to keep going for a long time.
Devotion Paladin for smites, healing, anti charm and aura buffs.
Evocation Wizard to blast enemies with AOE damage without hurting allies. Also incredible utility.
Trickery Cleric for their ability to cast spells through their illusions and being an MVP in combat.
He's a genius
