I've had this idea for a PC that is the deity Olidammara who fell from his pantheon and lost most of his powers. I have his race and backstory set up but I can’t figure out what class he should be. Olidammara is a trickster god who’s circle pertains to mischief, music, and rogues. I originally thought bard but I’m not too sure if that’s the best fit. Thoughts?
You could always do multi class. I don’t know much about this god, but from what you describe: Arcane Trickster, Bard (Glamour maybe?), Trickery Domain Cleric would all work. Or any combination of the above.
Another thing to remember, it’s perfectly okay to have a PC who likes/plays music that isn’t a Bard. That can be a fun flavor bit to add to the character

I know what you're thinking: "In that flurry of blows, did he use all his ki points, or save one?" Well, are ya feeling lucky, punk?
In the Deities and Demigods book from 3.5 he’s listed as a Rogue 20/Bard 10/Cleric 10. All the gods had Cleric though, so you can ignore that.
His spells focused on trickery (mage hand, prestidigitation, ventriloquism, etc), subterfuge (illusions, invisibility, etc.), shapechanging, and movement (feather fall, freedom of movement).
Thank that’s really helpful. What subclasses do you think he’d have and how would you level(like how would you distribute levels between bard and rogue)?
I could see thematically he would start as a rogue and as he bacame stronger and began getting some of his power back would be when he leveled into bard.

That's funny. I'll bet somebody out there on these forums has the "official" page on Olidommara from the Dragon magazine =)

His symbol is an instrument. Bard.

He also used a rapier known as Swiftstrike.
