Hey all. New to all this D&D stuff. In the character builder, it wont let me have all the subclasses/species, etc, unless I buy something from the marketplace. What exactly do I have to buy? I don't see anywhere to purchase subclasses. Someone said I have to buy something like the Players Handbook. But I already have the Players Handbook that I purchased from Amazon. Is that the only thing I can buy to unlock all the character building stuff?
You have to buy the books on DDB - Amazon doesn't count. When you buy the PHB (for example), you'll get all the subclasses (and other content) from the PHB made available in the character creator.
If you're after specific content (eg a particular subclass), let us know and we will tell you what book you need to buy.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
If you’ve already got the physical book and would rather spend time than money, you could potentially use the site’s homebrew tools to add those character options.
