How do others keep track of the notes for a map or area, or a quest, so that you can reference them quickly during play?
For example, I have a few dungeons and encounters that have a lot going on, and I want to have my notes about content in those locations that I can access easily when I have a map up.
I use Notion for it. It is great because it allows you to link pages, so you can have a continent and have some info their but on the page link to specific nations and then link to specific cities which can all reference each other. Plus for sessions I can add a quick link to what I might need access to limiting my tabs.
I absolutely love OneNote. The UI is so intuitive such that you can use it right away without having to learn much. Over the years I learned how to format my pages to make it look nicer. Furthermore, I found add-ons geared to D&D. I have used it to run adventures. I can easily add maps and even hand written notes during play (if using Wacom or if using Microsoft Surface Pro). OneNote supports hyperlink such that you can quickly access information that you need.

I've tried a bunch of more complex solutions but I always seem to come back to just having a bunch of google docs I can bring up in other tabs.
