So, to preface, I started DnD just a little while ago, joining an awesome rotating cast of misfits under the Azure Moon Adventurer's Guild, as a Hill Dwarf Paladin. And after a few successful sorties and some character building, I get drawn into an investigation of one of our guildmates' traumatic pasts, to capture or kill the one responsible. And holy hells, it was an emotional rollercoaster of a run, one that left us drained and on the cusp of a total party knockout. Indeed, the very last roll of the night saved us as, unconscious in a Withering Radiance, our two remaining combatants killed the mastermind, saving us all on the verge of death with two failures apiece. Best of all, the two rolls that saved our butts? Both were natural 20 religion rolls. One to find out the extent of the structure's illusory nature, and one to call for guidance in striking the finishing blow.
With that, I'd love to hear summaries of other folks' most memorable sessions. :D
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Working on a supplement for the adventure-minded. A project including (and crediting) homebrew subclasses from the community, a world of my own design, premade characters, magic items, and even a prologue adventure to start things off!
Past and Current Characters: Morgann 'Duskspear' Solbeard, Hill Dwarf Paladin/Fighter/Warlock; Ephemeral 'Skye' Solbeard, Hill Dwarf Artificer; Zaldrick Lawscrip of Orzhov, Hobgoblin Wizard; Eremys Spydrun, Shadar'kai Monk; Cuchulainn, Wood Elf Blood Hunter.
