Hi. So I'm currently running Eve of Ruin with my players, and I noticed something about Vecna on the front cover. Now I know a lot of Vecna's lore, and I haven't read all the adventure, but I've skimmed it, and I noticed that on the cover, Vecna has both hands, including his left one. As most know, he lost his left hand to Kas, but why does he have it here? Please if anyone can explain that would be good.
Never thought of it that way, thanks. But if I'm just not seeing correctly, then that's my fault, and please correct me, but it seems like he's missing his left eye. If that were the case, wouldn't Vecna reincarnate his eye (if that's the right wording).
I suspect it's a spectral hand. Notice how the left hand is brighter and more glow-y than the right? The reddish glow is the same as the glow in the empty eye socket.

I mean, liches reform new bodies from their phylacteries, so getting another hand doesn't seem like it would be much of an obstacle.

Cheers.

That's probably most likely. Thanks.
