Normally I wouldn’t complain but after pushing back the original release date, I feel as though DND Beyond should be hyper focused on not dropping the ball on an early release date promise especially to premium content holders. It’s Nov 25th and I still don’t have access to the new content. Let’s not even talk about the many other bug with the site and app as of lately. Rant over. If anyone else gets access today please let me know.
If you check the marketplace there's a count down to the official release. We've got just under 3 more hours before the early release is due. It's not two weeks early regardless of where you are but two weeks early than the release based on Seattle. For me in the UK that's around 5pm
DDB doesn't (and as far as I remember, hasn't ever) release books at midnight the day of release. Instead they have historically released around 1500 UTC. The marketplace countdown suggests it's actually gonna be closer to 1700 UTC (take the current countdown and subtract 14 days). So either which way you cut it, the book isn't late/no ball has been dropped. You're just being a little over-eager
I will also note, while D&D Beyond has gotten a bit better at releasing at their scheduled release times, historically there have been little hiccups with implementation and books drop an hour or so after intended. Almost every time that happens, there are folks freaking out - and I expect given the existing delays that could be worse this time. Every time this day-of freaking out has been groundless, so some patience is warranted.
I mean it’s not groundless. People are paying for a service. It would be different if the early release wasn’t tied to you pre ordering something and paying a monthly subscription so to say groundless is slightly no let me correct it grossly tone deaf. To hold a business accountable for their promises is a good practice because we have seen what happens when we don’t (looks at the video game community). To say patience is warranted is ok but to say people holding a business accountable to what they say is groundless is wild. Me coming to a forum to voice my frustration because this is the one thing I was looking forward to after a long year is also warranted. So yeah everytime I see someone “freaking out” that someone else is voicing their opinions about an entity that they’ve supported for years I can’t help but think that you good sir are part of the problem.
I was kind of worried when I saw Artificers were no longer proficient with firearms (one of my players plays one that has a pistol) but then I saw that Artillerist (their subclass) gains proficient with ranged martial weapons so it works out

It’s out now, dropped about an hour ago

Battle Smith is also proficient with firearms, as a note, being proficient with all martial weapons.
