Can one play D&D TTRPG 5e solo?
Yes, you can, though I think most people might find that less rewarding? Some people do enjoy it, but it's not something the system is really intended for, so you usually have to go to third party sources for content. But you can find plenty of stuff specifically designed for solo play on places like DM's Guild.

I've not tried them but Obvious Mimic Press has several campaigns custom written for solo play that have won awards and are apparently very good
