Source content access question

Hi there all. I really want to confirm whether I can access content that I PERSONALLY buy in a campaign that I was invited to (I did not create it). I've been trawling the support areas and faq's and can't find an answer to this scenario. 

1. I've been invited to a campaign by our DM

2. That DM doesn't have any source content other than the player's handbook

3. I'm running a Bladesinger and I'm the only one who needs teh Faerun book which I would like to buy myself

I basically need to make sure that if I personally buy the Faerun book (or any other book for that matter), that I can access its features in character creation and functionality. I know that for other players to access my content, someone in the campaign would need to be a master tier subscriber, but that won't be necessary in this case. I just want to make sure that I can access the content I buy in whatever campaign I'm part of?
