Hi there all. I really want to confirm whether I can access content that I PERSONALLY buy in a campaign that I was invited to (I did not create it). I've been trawling the support areas and faq's and can't find an answer to this scenario.
1. I've been invited to a campaign by our DM
2. That DM doesn't have any source content other than the player's handbook
3. I'm running a Bladesinger and I'm the only one who needs teh Faerun book which I would like to buy myself
I basically need to make sure that if I personally buy the Faerun book (or any other book for that matter), that I can access its features in character creation and functionality. I know that for other players to access my content, someone in the campaign would need to be a master tier subscriber, but that won't be necessary in this case. I just want to make sure that I can access the content I buy in whatever campaign I'm part of?
Just remember if anyone in your campaign has a master subscription and enables content sharing everything everyone owns is shared. This is generally not a bad thing, but can have some negative impact on some games.

You can always access content that you've personally purchased, regardless of what campaign the character is in, or if it's in one at all.
This does not require you or anyone else involved to have a subscription.
