I can't see you tube, is there any other way to access it?
It is, unsurprisingly, in the Character Builder 😂
I actually looked there 1st. I don't see it, but maybe I am blind. I have 3 pictures with my characters/my campaigns/maps vtt then a list of small font words, - mobile app/discord bot/three lines of "homebrew"/encounters/my dice
What did I miss?
That's not the character builder, that's "Play D&D"
It's slick, and made a lot of the choices I would have made myself. It's not terribly difficult to go in to the builder and adjust once someone has most of the character built, too.
The one thing I raised an eyebrow at was the placement of wizard and sorcerer in terms of complexity. Perhaps I look at it differently, but I think wizard is a bit more complex than a sorcerer (many more decision points... i.e. every LR), but they have wizard as "medium" difficulty and sorcerer as "hard" difficulty. For new players wanting to play a caster, I usually encourage them to play sorcerer over wizard. Am I just weird?
I didn't find either particularly difficult to learn, even though Wizard was my very first character. Wizards are pretty straight forward though. You learn spells, you do extra damage with some of them. I played an Evoker, and it was pretty plain. I'd say it's easier straight off. The complexity and choices are at Long Rests, when you have time to think, rather than in the middle of fights.

I guess that's a fair assessment. Sorcs make impactful choices on level up and during each fight (since they have a separate resource they can use, like monks).
I personally would like to see more of the mechanics in Quickbuilder. Flavor is free, but mechanics tell me how a character will actually play. When I click for more details of a feature on the mobile app, I can't go back without having to start the character over. The aesthetic is great, and I can see how it would help new players make a level 1 character. I'd just like to see more of the text I've paid for in an easy way alongside the new aesthetic.

I don't think the quick builder is aimed at you. It's aimed at the new players, letting them throw together a character without being overwhelmed.
That said, going back on mobile restarting generation does sound like a bug.

You need to click "Create a Character"

That's a fair assessment. I'd like to see some of the improved aesthetic and art in the standard builder, but perhaps the quick builder isn't for me
I suspect the standard builder will be getting a similar overhaul in the near future
