Let me start by saying that I love the VTT and we use it weekly for our games. That being said, I think D&DBeyond's priorities aren't the best...
Don't get me wrong, the 3D dice are nice and I appreciate all the options regarding them, but do we really need that when we still lack basic, core features of D&D?Just on the top of my head, we can't:
Apply status conditions to tokens, i.e poison, prone, frightened, etc.
Change the size of a token, i.e, Enlarge/Reduce or the spitting trait of the Ochre Jelly.
Import custom NPC's very easily.
Change the picture of a character/creature to reflect a homebrew, etc.
Just seems like they're focusing on the fun things like 3D dice, rather than the important features that add to the gameplay experience. I'll be interested to respectfully hear some thoughts on this.
