I was reading up on the new Workbooks that are being released in May to support the '24 (5.5) Sourcebooks, and was curious about if any of you have heard if these will be released with an Alternate Cover Variant?

No, because they're not game books. Alternate covers are something specific to LGS' for game books

Thank you for the info and response!
I kind of figured as much as these are smaller books and will only run $26 each.
I like the collectable aspect of the Alternate Covers, so I wanted to make sure before I made a plan to pick up the standard cover versions :)
Separate, but somewhat related question that I thought of while typing this response...
Will these be released early in LGS' like standard books, or will they only have a 'standard' release everywhere?
I re-reviewed the 2026 Calendar Release Post, and don't see these books even listed there :(

They're not game books, so there's no reason to anticipate a release pattern that follows game books.

It's weird that books listed as official companions for the 2024 PHB and DMG aren't game books.
