There are already plenty in the public Homebrew you can use if you don't want to create one yourself

Do I need a subscription for mw to use them? A lot of the homebrew ones are different.
No, you only need a subscription to create public homebrew content, not to use it.
Other way around—you can create and optionally publish homebrew without subscription, but you need a sub to use (add to my collection) public homebrew.
You don't need a subscription to add homebrew to your collection if it's made by someone in a campaign with you though.

My mistake, though that seems...weird. I was looking at the list of subscription benefits and one of them says "Add publicly shared homebrew", which I took to mean "publish homebrew", but I guess it actually means "add publicly shared homebrew to a character"?

Yeah, it means add it to your collection of saved homebrew, not add it to the community
Our DM is allowing for more than 3 attunement slots. Is there a way for me to create more of them?
It's possible to do that with a homebrew feat that sets the number of attunement slots to a number higher than 3.

How do I do that?
