I have a Dwarven Forge Cleric with the magic initiate who came across a Dwarven Thrower in the last campaign. I'm looking at casting True Strike while throwing the Hammer.
I'm just wondering if all the bonuses will stack. Since Divine Strike isn't a spell at level 7, just an ability
True Strike:Guided by a flash of magical insight, you make one attack with the weapon used in the spell’s casting. The attack uses your spellcasting ability for the attack and damage rolls instead of using Strength or Dexterity. If the attack deals damage, it can be Radiant damage or the weapon’s normal damage type Divine Strike: Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with an attack roll using a weapon, you can cause it to take an extra 1d8 Necrotic or Radiant damage (your choice). Dwarven Thrower: When you hit with a ranged attack using this weapon, it deals an extra 1d8 Force damage, or an extra 2d8 Force damage if the target is a Giant
So bascially at each hit after the throw would be 1d8 (Hammer) + 1d8(force) +1d6 (Radiant - true strike) + 1d8 (Radiant/necrotic). None of the other abilities say it has to be the attack action, just attack.
Is my logic correct? Also does the +3 of the weapon count when considering to hit/damage when using the spell..
Not sure where the 1d6 comes from. Let's say you have +4 Wisdom.
1d8+3+1d8 from the Dwarven Thrower.
+4 from True Strike.
+1d8 from Divine Strike.
So in total, 3d8+7.

If you're not willing or able to to discuss in good faith, then don't be surprised if I don't respond, there are better things in life for me to do than humour you. This signature is that response.
At which point, yes, that's correct, you were just missing the +3 from the Dwarven Thrower.

Yeah, I’d rule that they stack. You’re still making a weapon attack with the Dwarven Thrower, so Divine Strike should trigger fine, and the hammer’s extra thrown damage also applies.
The +3 absolutely still counts too since it’s the weapon’s magic bonus, even if True Strike changes the attack stat to your spellcasting modifier.
Only thing is I think True Strike replaces the weapon’s normal damage type rather than adding extra radiant damage, so I’d read it more like:
1d8 weapon (or radiant) + STR/WIS mod +3 +1d8 force from Dwarven Thrower +1d8 radiant/necrotic from Divine Strike

No, the original post was correct that at level 7, True Strike would add 1d6 additional Radiant damage. This is in addition to (optionally) changing the weapon's base damage to Radiant.
All damaging cantrips come with automatic improvements at character levels 5, 11, and 17. In the case of True Strike it adds 1d6 Radiant damage at each of those levels.

The extra 1d6 is due to 5th lvl cantrip
