Worth is entirely subjective and can be measured in a multitude of different ways. “Are the mechanics well designed?” “Is the setting interesting?” “Are there neat items I can give my players?” Ant number of different metrics might produce a wildly different result.
Speaking for myself, I enjoy some of the mechanics in it - it has some fun, low-power potions that make for low-impact, high-enjoyment loot. The monsters are relatively balanced against official content of 5.0e era - which means they are a bit simple and dull for my tastes. I know I read the player options, but found them, on the whole, too forgettable to provide any feedback on. I have no interest in the setting, so cannot evaluate that.
Overall, by my analysis, I would say it is not worth it, unless you just like having the content. For what I typically am interested in books, I would say it was not worth the purchase price. For third party content, things like Griffon’s Sadlebag Part 2 provides more interesting items, Flee Mortals! is better for monsters, and Tal’Dorei Reborn is better for balanced, yet still interesting, player options.
But that entire analysis leaves out a major part of the book - the setting. If the setting is what you care about, the math might shake out differently.
I personally find the monsters fun for a self-contained Obojima game, but the more whimsical spells, magic items, feats & potions, as well as some genuinely fun subclasses & species, makes it a welcome departure from all of the played-out "Yet More Murder Monsters & How To Grind Them To Powder" cliche setups. The mysteries of the in-universe lore hooked me hard, & I'm hoping that the sequel comes to Beyond.

Hi!!!!
I'm a DnD maniac and... I think the only Wizard that backstabs people Instead of casting spells.
I'm also an Anime and Fortnite fun.

It's worth it if you have the budget.
