I tend to DM, rather than play, but most of my characters have Warlock in them, or are all-Warlock.
I love the roleplaying dynamic of the Warlock, I love the opportunities it opens for your backstory, and I find it to be a class which augments almost anything!
I far prefer the arcane spell casters (Wizard, Bard, Sorceror, Warlock). My main disappointment is the lack of specialized spellcasters with more slots. That it, I would want something that got 1 extra spell of each slot level 1-5 plus one extra spell of their highest level, in exchange their non-specialized spells all used a slot one level higher. So to cast an Identify it cost you a second level slot, but you had a lot more slots for spells of your specialized school.
