Yeah, I'm assuming they are trying to gauge interest. Not sure there is many people that will pick it up cause there are a lot of other companies that make these, and they do a better job. I feel like WOTC should just stick to making content for their game, let 3rd parties make the accessories.

The last time they dealt w/a 3rd party on reference cards, a lawsuit happened. The Gale Force Nine debacle.

WOTC is primarily two parts. One is the D&D Book Publisher. However, the other part (and more profitable) is the Magic the Gathering card printer.
I feel like they have the experience to design and print physical cards.

Anyone else find it odd they are not putting out spell 6-9 cards or monsters above cr5?
are they just waiting to see if these sell to put out the complete line?

I would wonder about third party content following the same format and artwork. Like Drakenhigm(SP) spells, magic items and monsters.
