The concept is of multiple stories surrounding multiple people across the multiverse trying to stop an evil cosmic entity acting across multiple D&D worlds.
The worlds could range from the Forgotten Realms to Greyhawk to Dragonlance to Mystara or even Exandria. The Antagonist could be an Eldrazi, a Demon Lord, Tharizdun or a God from the Cthulhu mythos.
I dig it. would take lots of planning but it could be done. I have seen someone trying to plan something like that, though not the same, where 4 different campaigns and their outcomes feed into an overarching story that would be a 5th Mega campaign.
Would likely work better now adays with remote tables and VTTs then it did Pen and Papper.

You might get more feedback on this if it were posted in the DMs forum.
I've tried posting things there before but almost never got feedback.
If you want feed back........ What the perspectives of the events? Is each realm fighting the same fight independently? Or is it a key character going reality hopping as the throughline, and teaming up with local heroes? Each has staggering implications for the adventures linked to it. Each setting also has bespoke rules unique to the setting. How are those reconciled?
And given its cosmic horror, most of the enemies are probably Aberrations. If you wanted to, you can make the villain a Beholder that believes its a Dungeon Master, and has full control over every reality.... and it'd be canon compatible. It goes from setting to setting, toying with heroes. All leading to the ultimate rug pull that its essentially a kid playing with collectable toys, unleashing monsters that don't belong to the setting as part of its fan fiction.
