Umm, I know this is an old forum; however, I hope this gets addressed soon. How long does the Lightweaver sorcerer's flickering aura last? It's not on my character sheet; it's not in the digital book. So I've been trying to figure this out.
If it has no defined duration, then it lasts indefinitely. You are always shifted toward either light or dark, and you can swap which one at the end of a long rest.

The problem isn't with the light/dark shifted thing. The problem is with the active ability that lets you use an action to emit light (or darkness) out to a certain range. That effect has no defined duration in the text at all, so a strict reading of the rules would then say that it carries on indefinitely even past a long rest, and even if you change to the other light/dark mode.
There is also no defined means of manually turning it off, meaning that once you turn it on, it's on forever even if you also turn on the other version of it (and then you're emitting both light and darkness forever).
That's obviously ridiculous, but it's not clear whether the problem lies with D&D Beyond's implementation or with the original content; this kind of issue is pretty common in third-party content.
There are ppl with many more knowledge and experience than I. But this is broken af. From what I know this completely breaks action economy... plus some.
From what I'm reading, from 1st level you can already double your action economy but if im reading it right, at 6th level you can quadruple it? Even the quickened metamagic only allows you to cast an extra cantrip as a bonus action.
Throw in a whole lot of cheese with multiclassing as a sorlock or palasorc(sorcadin?) And you'll have people rage quitting your game.
