Importantly, the new team reflects a more multicultural approach and focus on representing different cultures than the mostly-Eurocentric fantasy of the prior developer. Their history shows they are capable of introducing new types of setting and theme, without losing the core identity that makes those settings relatable to everyone regardless of background.
Has there been a single release by the new team that hasn't been entirely Eurocentric fantasy, with anything that takes inspiration from other cultures being utilized purely through a lens of exoticism?
Furthermore, have there been any releases in third-party content of such a nature? Because the overwhelming majority of such content has been dark fantasy, a genre that predominately is created by and aimed at white males, and which frequently contains themes of victimizing and dehumanizing people outside of white-coded majorities.
The least Eurocentric major release on DDB is a shameless stylistic rip-off of Studio Ghibli done by white people, which applies Western tropes and monomyths to a setting inspired by Eastern storytelling. Every single recent and upcoming major third-party release is Eurocentric fantasy helmed by white men, and WotC is putting those white men front and center at its conventions and announcements—not the diverse staff that actually works directly for them. Make of that what you will.
Forgotten Realms was the default setting for 5E. The 5.5E core books are more setting agnostic, though I did think the Greyhawk section in the DMG was a neat addition.

That's an interesting perspective.
American companies tend to bring non white developers to their interviews, but then their high rank members are all white. It's pretty difficult to bring new perspectives if the person in charge is white.
I'll start to believe in integration when an African, Hispanic or Asian descendant rules one of these companies (including Wizards of the Coast). 😂
Turning a thread about lack of published adventures into a thread about orc lore in the PHB is pretty troll-like behavior.
Seriously? Can't a thread change its original topic throughout the conversation? How am I trolling here? I think we are discussing with respect and pouring our points of view. We can disagree, but that's not a bad thing, is it?

Well, many of the things they've published in 5.5 so far happen in Forgotten Realms (not to mention Deadfall). But yeah, I think they are maybe trying to not focus too much on that campaign setting (although it's the most popular).
The key point is, so far the 2024 releases have been boostrapping the major settings back to baseline, including getting the one class everyone says should be Core up to speed. Now that that's done, the seasons can focus less on settings and switch to campaigns. Note that this is the first "season" where they haven't had a setting book, and the Seasons style has only started after a period of massive management upheaval and team direction change.
They know what we want, and they want to sell it to us, but frankly, the setting books are both more significant than individual campaigns, and also more useful for those future campaigns.

Given this bad faith take, it's safe to say that this is officially a rage trap thread.
They "Barely release" new adventures for multiple reasons.
Adventures take time. They don't sell as well. The past rapid release was likely a source of complaints for 7 years years from people not in this thread. Staff changed. They rightfully refuse to use AI. Damned if they do, damned if they don't. Lore defaults were a major complaint for 10 years. & the basic plot of adventures acts as lore, which angers the fans of Official Authors.
We shouldn't go worst case scenario merely because they didn't cater to bad faith.

The problem I have with these new setting books is they seem repetitive (but it's not a 5.5 thing). I wish they could create a campaign setting for Kara-Tur, for example. That would be amazing, in my opinion.
Are there any clues about what they will release in the Q3? I remember that the roadmap wasn't complete.
We'll learn what the Q4 sourcebook is next week at GenCon, and likely most of the '27 roadmap during the Keynote. One adventure per year is pretty reasonable given the rate most groups tend to consume the content, so for official content I'd make the educated guess we'll probably see dates for the Luke Gygax 'Melf's Guide to Greyhawk', a Book of Vile Darkness themed release built around the Villainous UAs, a DarkSun/Athas book if the Apocalyptic and Psion UAs are going ahead, and another adventure likely alongside the next Grab-Bag/PHB Expansion or special-focused monster-themed supplement (Fizban/Bigby's) like we're getting with Arcana Unleashed and Deadfall.
Seriously? Can't a thread change its original topic throughout the conversation? How am I trolling here?
There are certain topics that are lightning rods for rage, bad behavior, and locked threads.
If the thread has to be locked, so be it, but saying in the middle of the discussion "you are a troll because the topic of the original post changed" is, in my opinion, what makes a thread become a rage bait thread. There's no real proof of what you're saying and the discussion has been thoroughly respectful from the beginning. Moreover, I don't see the point of saying: "it's a rage bait thread!!!". If you think so, just stop posting. Why do you have to post such a comment? How is that helpful?
I do appreciate the fact that the discussion has been respectful so far and I want to say thank you to all of you for coming here and expressing your point of view respectfully. People having different views on a topic is not a rage bait.
That said, I won't answer this kind of messages again.

That sounds promising!! We'll see what they have to show us at GenCon.
I'm particularly excited about a supposed collaboration between Blizzard and Wizards of the Coast. I hope they announce a roleplaying game for World of Warcraft using 5e rules. That would be awesome!

I have a feeling that'll be a third-party collaboration - Partnered Content - with D&D Beyond compatibility, rather than an Official Wizards of the Coast Campaign Setting.

I think as educated guesses based on UA and leaks that’s a pretty good list.
If they’re still on schedule for the site rebuild ending by the end of this year I think the third party announcements in 2027 weeks can expect a lot of the more complicated but highly demanded books that feature multiple subclasses and third party classes that up until now haven’t been possible so that should be an interesting list as well

All signs are pointing to a Dark Sun book by the end of the year

We’ll most likely find out at Gen Con
