Weapon idea because its making me mad

Scythe, yes, the traditional scythe won't work because of its shape but during times of war they turned the scythe blade to face the same way as the hilt thus making the war scythe, please add this, I really would appreciate it, it would it would most likely do piercing Damage or slashing damage, most likely it would be the latter. please give me your feedback on this idea. thank you for your time.

That just sounds like a reflavoured Halberd or Glaive mechanically. If it isn’t, what would its stats be?

That's basically a Glaive. Sure, it might weigh a different amount, but does that really matter?

And frankly there’s no reason you can’t be wielding a fantasy-style war scythe if you want. Again, just reskin an existing slashing weapon.

There are ton of polearms out there, but at the resolution of D&D there's no real reason to distinguish them. I'd go with a halberd, cleave seems like an appropriate mastery.
