When the Psionic UA dropped (long before we knew that you were going to do a MA-rated Dark Sun Book) I was wondering if you would actually consider a setting book focused on Abeir. My reason being it is a canon setting that little is known about, like Athas there are no gods and no weave and the only large civilizations are ruled by powerful tyrants, the only difference is that rather than Defiling Mages whose spells strip life from the land around them, on Abeir they are dragons whose very presence shapes the environment around them. It would also allow for a different vibe less survival in the wasteland of a dying world and more like survival in a world brimming with life were humanoids themselves are the underdogs scraping out an existence in a world dominated by primordial elementals and draconic emperors. I just thought that it would be an interesting chance to have the setting properly fleshed out and that it would be a choice with less baggage than Dark Sun.
I want that but know I likely won't get it. A lot of stuff from 4E seems to be quietly just dropped by the wayside. I would love for a storyline or campaign where Abeir-Toril starts to break back up into Abeir and Toril and you had to plane hope between the two places to either stop the separation or make sure it separates without destroying either world.
But I also want DarkSun, so i want it as well as Athas not instead of Athas.
