In my little gaming group, we have the official DM and the technical advisor DM, who assists the official DM with the idiosyncrasies of the DnD Beyond VTT. (No, I am NOT the technical advisor DM). As long as everyone is patient, the VTT is pleasant and enjoyable.

Unfortunately none of that changes the fact that D&D Beyond does not have any functionality to support multiple DMs. All DM permissions are tied to a single designated account at any given time

Okay, to be technical, the "official" Dungeon Master for our group is the technical advisor (his DnD Beyond user name is listed as the DM) BUT that is because a couple of the members of our group are mobility limited and the VTT (along with Discord) is the only way for the group to assemble each week. (and, yes, I am one of the mobility limited). Our group has been using the VTT for about the past eight months and we are slowly learning the many nuances and quirks.
Is there a PDF somewhere that explains the various icons of the VTT? I puzzled out the "arrow" icon and the "hand" icon and the "character sheet" icon but it would be nice to know in advance what the various icons mean and what they do.

I looked and am not sure. I haven't opened the vtt yet, but it should be in the campaign section if it is.
No, DDB doesn't support multiple DMs at all

We will just stick to other VTT's then.
