Hey everyone--has anybody come across any info suggesting Project Lamordia will get a physical release (either standalone or bundled with another book)?
I'm not against digital content itself, but I'm wary of anything locked exclusively to one platform. It feels like having ownership and flexibility matter more than the format these days.
Anyone heard anything about Wizards' plans for physical publication?
While there have been no announcements, I would be incredibly surprised if this gets a physical release in its present form.
To justify the expense of a physical release (printing is not cheap and you have to front that cost with the hope of recovery), a product needs to be fairly likely to sell. This particular product is very small, very niche, and offers extremely little beyond the adventure itself. The species is a direct reprint, the feats are reprints, and the monsters, while having some interesting abilities for their CR level, are generally clumped together in a way that makes them inapplicable outside of the low level range of the product.
All told, I do not think it offers enough at this point to justify printing, nor would it offer enough for a consumer to justify spending the cost of a physical product.
Now, it is possible we will see more of these types of mini-book in the future. And, if that is the case, there might be a tipping point where it makes sense to offer an anthology series of D&D Beyond products bundled and packaged together in a physical book. But that is entirely speculative at this point and is not something I would hold my breath for.

I don’t think they’ve made any announcements about it one way or another, beyond the spooky teasers they’ve posted and the store page.
