Aberrant Horror - Eldritch Limbs

Quick question - I am trying to understand the rules for the Grimhollow Transformation Aberrant Horror. Specifically the Eldritch Limb Boon. Do these add your str or dex to damage? There is a not saying they are neither unarmed attacks nor weapons so I was confused on if they do, there is also a note saying you are proficient in them and they use either Dex or Str.

I am using the 2024 edition rules.

Hopefully I posted this in the correct area.

Yes, you definitely add the freak circus your Strength or Dexterity modifier to the damage roll! In D&D (both 5e and 2024 rules), any weapon attack or natural/special melee attack that specifies using Str or Dex applies that same modifier to both the attack roll and the damage roll, unless the feature explicitly states otherwise. The note clarifying they aren't 'unarmed strikes' or 'weapons' is mainly there to prevent cheese like Smite or Weapon Masteries interacting with them.
