I will echo Lost Mine of Phandelver as well! It is specifically designed as an introduction to the game. My daughter DMed it for her first campaign for a high school club, and (being the busy student she is) did not have a lot of time to prepare. So a lot of it was just reading the adventure as the PCs got to locations, and it still worked well. It really is great for first time DMs.
Waterdeep: Dragon Heist is also good, but realize that there is a lot of optional material in there and depending on the villain you choose, some of it plays out in a different order. So if you go with that one, plan more time to make sure you understand the order of things. However, most of the optional stuff doesn't happen until level 3, so it is possible to get away with levels 1 & 2 before you really need to make sense of all of the optional stuff.
But once you have that, it's broken up into easily managed small pieces. It has the benefit that, depending on the group's and your interest, you can go very deep into social interactions with running the tavern and getting to know NPCs around the city, but it is not essential to the plot if that's too daunting for a first campaign.
Final benefit of both is that they are short. That means you will need to pick the 2nd adventure in a few months or so, but for a 1st adventure it is very good to pick something short of easily contained. Massive campaigns can be very daunting to new DMs and it's easy to get lost in the large scope of it.
Good luck!! And I hope you enjoy being a DM!

I am being DM for the first time in about a week. I need a campaign for me to do. I was wondering if you have any suggestions for beginner campaigns.
Thank you, Xander
Lost mine of phandelver and waterdeep dragon heist are both good adventures for beginner DMs and player.
(Disclaimer: I have not ran or played either of these adventures myself)
Thank you. anything will help.
