Not a complaint, more just a curiosity. So, when you buy any given book in the marketplace, the legendary bundle cost is reduced by the cost of that book, right?
Ok, so I've purchased and unlocked all the content on DDB separately over time (being unable at any one point to buy the Bundle) and now that I have, the Bundle still says it costs $46.82.
That's weird, right? Shouldn't it be zero now that I've bought everything? Or at least far less than $46.82? I guess I don't care, since I'm not planning to get the bundle anyway, just wondering what is going on here.
Is $46.82 the price point of securing 15% off future purchases? If that's true, how did DDB arrive at that number?
Of course! That makes sense, since I leapt on any 25% off discounts as they came out to purchase whatever books I still needed. Thanks for the super fast reply!!
Also, just wanted to say- I haven't really been on the forums til recently and whoo-boy, the internet is harsh. I always seem to forget.
So, if it counteracts all the negativity, even just a little, let me say that I love DDB! It has made my online and RL games so much easier/more fun to run, and although I am clearly not a super rich man (evidenced by my scrounging and saving to get the books piecemeal using discount codes), I'll note for the record that I do own physical copies of a lot of the material that I bought on DDB, and I'd do it again if I could do it over. I love being able to hold the books in my hand, AND I love being able to quickly search through hundreds and hundreds of pages in the blink of an eye on my phone when a question comes up. I love being able to hand my players a book off my shelf for reference or to show them a pic of the monster they've been fighting, AND I love being able to use the character builder to assemble the newbie's character sheets ahead of the session and print it off in like 3 minutes. I see and understand the value of both things, and I'm happy and proud to have been able to complete my digital collection and support y'all (albeit while finding $46.82 worth of discounts along the way).
Yeah, so keep up the good work y'all! For every one person being butthurt and complaining here online, there are 10 more just quietly enjoying your product out here in the real world.
(Also, double thumbs up to you moderators for dealing with all this BS on the daily and maintaining great, fast customer service. Seriously, I had a simple idle question and y'all answered in under 10 minutes!)
As someone who has been using DDB since it came online, I agree with you. This tool is one of the best things to happen to the game since 5th Edition rules came out. (hehe) But seriously, I love this site. The forums can be a little harsh when talking about pricing items. A lot of people think that there isn't a difference between the hardcover books and the DDB books. Same books, different format. I still have people I play with who are adamant against this site, to which I say; "Your loss!" Truly, this is a great place for D&Ders to come and share information, their love for the hobby, and also to play games or make new friends. I have met so many wonderful people through this website that I will be eternally grateful for. This website not only has an amazing Dev team but really amazing and grounded moderators. I think they're the best on the web, with one of the best communities on the internet. We're just all nerds trying to make stories, whether together or with our home groups. DDB is like a bardic college if you think about it...hmm...lol that made me laugh, but it's true. How we can be better at our craft. Thanks for your post. I love seeing feedback from other users of this site, for good or for ill. Because we the players and DMs make this site what it is, without our feedback and encouragement I feel like this site would be a lot less than it is or can be.

Submit a ticket to support, they will know what is going on.
Retail $ value of books = Legendary Price
Retail $ value of books - purchases you've made = Remaining price for Legendary Bundle
When you use a coupon code, you deduct from the purchase price you've made, leaving that remainder to meet the Legendary Bundle price.
