Just what the title says. I already have the Player handbook and Xanathar's Guide to Everything. I'm not a DM and don't really plan on doing it any time soon so I think that the Dungeon Master's Guide and Monster Manual are not overly useful right now. I don't know but probably not any of the Adventures either. In your opinion, what should I buy next? What is cool about each book? Thanks!
Volo's guide has more player races and sword coast guide has a few subraces, some subclasses, and a handful of spells.
If you look at sword coast be aware that several (not all) subclasses were reprinted in xanathars... though a point in it's favor is telepathic halflings
Hi friends!

I'd look into volos guide or tome of foes, both add some race options and have cool lore.
If you want to know why the world is the way it is, go with tome of foes first, if you want more player races, go with volo's guide.
You're probably going to want those anyway so its more like which do you get first.

I'd say Volo's as well. More options to play with and lots of fun fluff to read also.
I will join the chorus of voices suggesting Volo's Guide.
