In light of the new twitch overlay extension, short of streaming a blank screen and using the extension, is there a way as a DM to view all of my players Health Totals/AC/ ETC at a glance without having to click on their character-sheet. I DM from a Microsoft Surface, so being able to mouseover something and see HP of my players rogue without having to click on it, have it load etc etc. Does this feature exist, or is it WIP?
I just came here to see if they somehow implemented this feature too because I saw the link for the twitch extension. I've been wanting to see my players HP, conditions, etc since I started to use DnD Beyond. Currently I open another web browser (Chrome) and I open all the characters in different tabs in the order they sit at my table. It's not as elegant or clean as having just one page but it's been to band-aid solution for now. I might play with using the twitch extension and just stream a blank screen
I scaled and reoriented it to fit 6 NPC cards per page in landscape. Then print and laminate. Laminating film is able to be used with dry erase or wet erase markers, or a grease pencil.
You can now easily have the stats of the party on a dry erase tracking sheet and mark off their HP as they get damaged and erase those marks as they get healed.
Dismember a $2 magnetic whiteboard meant for your fridge and glue the metal sheet to one panel of your DM screen. (or make your whole DM screen with these things, like I have done) and you can magnetically "pin" information to your DM screen and make fast notes on the dry erase surface. With both sides of your DM screen panels being magnetic whiteboard, plus using a color printer, you can have your DM screen change artwork to fit the current adventure.
$20 for a low end laminating machine and about $15 for a pack of 50 full page laminating "pouches."
My DM screen is 4 panels, both sides have the magnetic whiteboard. (using a 3D printed frame + dice tower system, but that is optional)
Infinite flexibility for your DM screen, as well as easy tracking of your party's HP, spell slots used... everything at a glance.
The electronic stuff is nice for some stuff, but can slow you down if you are trying to switch pages all the time to track what should be right in front of you in a hard copy format (even if that hard copy is dry erase)
I understand that the digital DM screen that's upcoming might resolve this if it's included but I think this is one of the quickest wins possible out of all the upcoming developments.
Heck, open up the JSON or have a simplified version with just basic stats so that we can develop our own overview tool.

Stuff like this is planned to be added in the (possibly near-ish) future.
