So, I have been slowly working on a Half-Drow character for the past several weeks now.
Today, I was thinking about his faith and his sunlight sensitivity. I had decided that I wanted him to dedicate his life to following Corellon, in an effort to repent for the sins of his race. To that end, he has become a Oath of Redemption Paladin, with Corellon as his adopted deity. I know that Corellon hates Drow and all because of what Lolth did, but he is also a good aligned deity. I can believe that if a Drow showed true repentance for the sins of his race, and truly made efforts to change and follow Corellon, instead of Lolth - that Corellon, might actually reward that Drow with some measure of forgiveness.
I am thinking that Corellon forgives this one Drow a tiny bit and because of that forgiveness, the character is rewarded by Corellon, who takes away his sunlight sensitivity, so that the can live in the light, as the elves were originally meant to do.
Is this something that would realistically happen?

A character that is a half-drow does not suffer from sunlight sensitivity unlike their full drow parent. Also he would have no problems having a half drow follower of good alignment. The Drow goddess Eilistraee, goddess of song and moonlight is actually his and Lolth's daughter, this is also an indication that not all drow are evil and there are a few that worship her in secret.

It's all about faith, not the color of your skin.
