Just started my kids on D&D, but it's my first time DMing in 20 years. We didn't have any of these new-fangled app contraptions way back then (yup, I'm a bit of a grognard who also believes Clerics should only be allowed bludgeoning weapons), so I'd just like some advice. I tried using a regular paper notebook and pen in our first session, but I'd like to try something more automated.
Encounter+ on iOS is very good. Suggested a new feature to him and got a response very quickly and the feature was in the next update a week or two later.

Encounter+ is also what I use. Amazed at how much you get out of that app for free.
