My character just got an effect/boon that increases his Spell DC and Spell Attack but I dont see a way to manually adjust these abilities.. Anyone know of a way?
I am new with homebrew magic items, and I'm having trouble figuring out how to increase the Spell DC for a homebrew item. I am guessing the Modifier Type is "Advantage", though I'm not sure, and the modifier type is "Spell Attacks" but I don't think this is right. Any insights @DxJcC
For homebrew items you use the modifier “bonus” and then select “spell attacks” or “spell save DC” - whichever you want to add to the item, or both as separate modifiers - and then put the increased amount in the “fixed value” part (ex. a 1 in fixed value will give the item a +1 to whatever you selected).
I am homebrewing the Arcane Grimore for this feature however, the item states that its bonuses are only for the wizard spells. Currently, this modification affects all bonuses and saves no matter what the class.
How can this feature be set to only modify the wizard spells (Attack bonus and Spell DC)?
For example, a multi-classed Wizard/Cleric has differing Intelligence (19) and Wisdom (15) scores, creating a variation in the bonus/save.

You can adjust individual spells on the character sheet, but in order to adjust them as a whole, you will need to make a homebrew feat or item.
