My group is also entirely in love with your extension, and I sent you some gold for food for your familiar as a thank you for your effort. It made it possible, and enjoyable, to move our game to play online, and we're having a blast. Thank you, keep up the good work!
So I was experimenting with this Extension last week on my Surface and was getting the blank rolls on my page (Now I have fixed that by setting my character sheets to the DND 5E by Roll20) but now on my main PC it is saying that it can't detect a VTT when I have Roll20 open and running. What am I doing wrong?
Hey! I was checking out Beyond20 and noticed a potential issue that I thought you might want to know about. Playing as a rogue, after level 11 you get “Reliable Talent” which treats any proficient skill check rolls 9 or below as a 10. I noticed that when you roll with Beyond20, it doesn’t account for that and will still show your 9 or below rolls as being that number plus your proficiency mod.
I’m sure that making it completely ignore 9 or below rolls after the rogue gets that perk would be bad, in case the DM wants to rule it out or something, but could there be a way to switch “reliable talent rolls” on when the character has it so that it will show the proficient skill check rolls as being at least 10 plus proficiency?
Have to star by saying that my whole group loves Beyond20. We usually play live and some of the group use DnDBeyond for their character but this sitiuation forced us all to switch to roll20 + dndbeyond.
As a group we have everything unlocked on DnDBeyond but only a Plus level subscription on Roll20. The main quality of life improvement we could all see is the ability to either import the Beyond20 enabled sheet directly to Roll20 or enable a feature to just drag or copy macros from the Beyond20 sheet to the VTT.
Is there a way or plan to integrate one of these features without cashing out on the PRO version of Roll20?
Cash is tight currently for all of us, and depending on how the Covid situation resolves itself, we may ditch VTT's alltogether in the near future.
I just want to say, it’s such a blessing to have Beyond20 right now. It truly is an incredible plugin, and all of my players and I are deeply, deeply appreciative!
Absolutely love this extension, it makes everything so much easier, especially with more people using VTTs during lockdown, perfect timing for this! Thanks for doing all this hard work!
I was about to suggest a feature of being able to easily roll with advantage/disadvantage, but I tried what I thought would be a possibility, and holding down left Ctrl whilst clicking on the beyond 20 button automatically rolled with disadvantage!
Are there any other button bindings that work? I'd love if we could have Left Alt roll with advantage or something, but either way this is a great hidden gem as I don't think that holding Ctrl to roll with disadvantage is mentioned anywhere in the tooltips, is it possible to display the shortcuts somewhere?

OMFG!!! I never knew you could do that, it works! I just tried holding down shift and it rolls with advantage. :) - What other forms of black magic are hiding from us?? Rolling for an investigation check.....

Many thanks KaKaRoToDM, your efforts have made a huge difference for our groups during these indoors-y-days! :)
I keep discovering more and more nice features that enhance my play and I try to keep up-to-date with the upcoming features also.
That said I have one question and a minor, I hope, request to add to the list... :P
Is it possible to separate the display of additional damage rolls/types further or is this a Roll20 or DnD Beyond limitation? What I mean is that an attack displays all primary damage (say slashing for a longsword) on the left-hand side and then there's a separator and all additional damage is displayed smushed into the right-hand side. Would it be possible to have more separators, essentially creating a 3+ split of damage boxes when you have a lot of additional damage types?
Say weapon damage + Hex + Booming Blade + Smite to give an example.
Second, as Smite is already supported for Paladins would it be possible to add support for a Warlock's Eldritch Smite Invocation? Ideally in such a way that it can be track whether the attack was a normal hit or a crit and roll the appropriate damage as well.

Damn, guys - great find! Thanks for sharing!
Okay! Just been mashing my keyboard keys to find if there are any other options,
Shift + Click = Advantage
Ctrl (cmd for Mac) + Click = Disadvantage
Hope thing helps, looking forward to see if there are any other combinations :D

As a GM, I'm attempting to roll from DNDbeyond character sheet assigned to me in my campaign using the beyond 20 extension to my game on Roll 20. Every roll is coming up blank. I read previously that having the wrong character sheet template selected will cause this. I made sure I have the 5e by roll20 sheet selected and Never whisper rolls selected. Any other ideas why I'm getting blank rolls? Thanks in advance.
Love Beyond20 and with Roll20 I think I prefer playing online now, everything is at hand and easy to find.
One question though,
on the roll20 token I have signed HP to the green circle and armour class to the blue circle. When a player changes there HPs in dndbeyond the green HP circle in roll20 changes to match, however if the player changes there armour class by say dropping a shield as they have switched to a Two handed weapon the Armour class charges in dndbeyond but not in roll20?
HP syncing (between DDB and R20) is one of the features Beyond20 supports, but I don't think I've seen anything about AC syncing. I am guessing what you're hoping to see is just not included (yet).
When you set the green circle in R20 to link to AC in the R20 token setttings, it is linking the green circle to the R20 character sheet, not to DDB.
Hello, I recently found your extension. I really like it's usefulness. I run a ton on roll20 now.
But for some reason the extension is whispering all of my rolls to the GM.
-If I'm the GM (whispers to me)
-If I'm a player.
I have turned off "always whisper" I have turned it back on, I have tried "always ask" and "never whisper" I've re-installed it twice and tried all the options again.
It will not stop whispering every roll I make. Any suggestions?
I keep upvoting your posts KaKaRoToDM, our groups is loving your extension, thank you :)
DNDbeyond, please pay this guy and make the extension official!

Is it open in the same browser?

Just a tip, on Mac, the shortcut for disadvantage is the cmd key — ctrl-click is bound to contextual menus, but cmd works.

alt-click will also roll a normal attack (if you have it set to roll advantage or disadvantage all the time).
Thank you

I had a different template selected when I created the game on Roll20. Once I changed it to "5e by Roll20", everything works fine.

You did not say but my chance are you rolling from a monster sheet? If so there is a setting for that: Whisper monster rolls to the DM
