Having bought a couple of books (PHB, etc.) I was looking at possibly getting the Master Tier sub so I can share these with my players in my campaigns.
When buying the books through the app, the prices are shown in GB pounds as you'd expect given I'm in the UK. Prices for the subs are not available through the app, you have to go to the site.
However, the only price shown for the subs on the site is the USD one. Although I can do a quick conversion via the internet (54.99USD = 43.33GBP at the time of writing), I always have this nagging doubt on how much I would be paying.
You'll pay whatever the conversion rate is on the date the transaction goes through because the bank will use that days conversion rate. So while you can get an idea of what you'll pay you'll never know for sure until the bank tells you what you paid. So unless a major fluctuation occurs around the time of your transaction you can estimate pretty good looking at current conversion rates.
I pay for the master tier monthly and it comes out at £5.41; £4.77 for the sub conversion, plus two 'fee's (one conversion and one non-sterling handling) of £0.14 and £0.50
Also, never buy anything through the app. Always do it on the website. (save your App store credit for something else)
The reason being that prices in the App are set on the App store and are fixed costs, and are also much higher price.
For example. Ghosts of Saltmarsh costs £28.99 in the App, but costs $29.99 on the website, which works out at around £23.65 after converting. But you can then also apply possible discount codes on the website which means you can get the same content for less that £19 (with a 20% discount)

Yours confused and dazed,
