Hell yeah man. Someone should make a Transformers-inspired one-shot where the PC's all play warforged characters fighting against a band of evil warforged that's trying to take over a city. I'd do it, but I've never DM'ed anything so I couldn't possibly do such a thing justice.

Whomsoever reads this: you matter, you are loved, and I wish you the best. Griffith did nothing wrong.
Yuan-ti Celestial warlock. This particular fellow began life as a spy for the yuan-ti. Acting as a courier for various other informants. Eventually he was tasked with delivering a book, he couldn't get it off his mind and when he opened it and read the strange words his new patron laid a claim on him. From cold and reptilian where feelings are eschewed, to being overwhelmingly filled with emotion. But I digress. He has been a lot of fun, pact of the tome with the extra invocation for ritual spells. He has a ton of options for cantrips, an attack spell of nearly every flavor. Collecting ritual spells in his little black book for versatility outside of combat. Warlock is pretty tame combo with yuan-ti but I have enjoyed the dichotomy of his upbringing and his patrons desires and goals for him.

"Where words fail, swords prevail. Where blood is spilled, my cup is filled" -Cartaphilus
"I have found the answer to the meaning of life. You ask me what the answer is? You already know what the answer to life is. You fear it more than the strike of a viper, the ravages of disease, the ire of a lover. The answer is always death. But death is a gentle mistress with a sweet embrace, and you owe her a debt of restitution. Life is not a gift, it is a loan."

I try to do this with most of my characters.
A Vampire Druid hunting for the monster that made him, Half Orc Alchemist trying to remove his Orc nature, Githyanki Barbarian (dark sun campaign)
I can neither confirm nor deny that Transformers was primary inspiration for Carver.
...but there is more to him than meets the eye.

"Transformers, Warforged in disguise."
... Now I want to make a warforged transmutation wizard...
"Transmuters, warforged in disguise."
