Do any of you read the D&D books, like Forgotten Realms series, etc? What are some of your favorites? What good ones do you like that are recent in the last few years?
I'm pretty sure the only D&D novel I ever actually read was Venom in Her Veins, which came out during the 4th ed era and starred a Yuan-ti pureblood. I remember it being pretty good over all.

"The mongoose blew out its candle and was asleep in bed before the room went dark." —Llanowar fable
I read one of the Eberron books, The Night of Long Shadows I think it was called. The books are great ways to get into the lore of new (or new-to-you) settings.
