Okay not sure if this is the right place to ask so if it isn't I apologize and want to fix it so please don't ghost delete this post...
Okay so I own the books and I am making one of the classes I want to play because I don't own them digitally which someone said that was okay as long as I keep it set to private as to not publish it. I am struggling with doing the arcane trickster because I can't figure out how to set up the settings for the spell casting table... and after a whole day of searching there is no tutorial videos for these kinds of things which I think could be made by the creators but that is a different story. I mainly just want to understand how to make my class because I love using this sites character sheets!!!
So if I can get help it would be appreciated I can do private messaging so that works if we can't do it here, just really struggling with this is all. Thanks ahead of time for the replies!
it's the creator itself like okay with the arcane trickster you get mage hand and 2 cantrips from the wizard school I got that to work... but then at level 10 you get another then at levels I think 3,8,11,14 you get more spells, May have to jurry rig it to get it to work since I don't think I can get it to work as intended.
The subclass creator was so horribly complicated with little explanation that I wasn’t able to use it at all, which is really unfortunate. I’m hoping it gets an update soon to make t more user friendly.
vs. The plug in maths style they have now to ‘make a table- first row is level, 2nd row is what it changes (like spellslots) 3rd is effect, etc’ to make it a lot easier, like a plug in form. I couldn’t find any tutorials for figuring it out as t stands either!

Learning new spells and cantrips should all be automatic. You may have to adjust some setting in basic information like spell prepare type.
Yeah finally figured it out after staying up all night doing trial and error if not for music I would have gone mad lol they really need to detailed tutorial and make several classes to give visual info on different mechanics options. Great idea and will only get better, but they do need to make it easier or make a tutorial video series on it which would make a cool live stream to store where people can ask questions and be shown answers.
DDB has stated that they plan to completely remake the homebrew tools from the ground up, and don't want to waste resources making a tutorial that will eventually be useless.

I'm not sure if your problem is with the spellcasting feature or the table that goes with it.
The character sheet will give you the right number of slots automatically as long as you have a class feature called "spellcasting".
I don't know how to do charts. The homebrew forum has some useful (Maybe) threads pinned.

Yeah got it figured out took 24 hours strait of madness and music to figure the damn thing out... really annoying lol
Now i can play an arcane trickster Kobold named Zilch who is actually an Urd but his people exiled him and cut his wings off out of jealousy
There are a few people who have made tutorials.

That is good to know this will be good love it just hard to figure out is the problem atm.
