You get all the content from the E5 basic rulebooks for free, right?
If I as DM own the hardcover books and plan the adventures just with that. But my players use D&D beyond for the character organization. I still have to buy the digital copy of each adventure, so that they can use the items or new spells? Or they have to buy it, and create a new account for each person?
Is that how it works? Or can I copypaste this stuff from the books and create it as homebrew spells/Items?
Sorry if this question is dumb und it is already explaines somewhere.
All of the basic rules or SRD content is free her for anyone. If you as the DM purchase the digital content (DM guide, player handbook, adventures whatever) you can share that content with your players here. If you would prefer not to purchase the content digitally you can as you said homebrew pretty much all of it.
Just a note that in order to share by you (or anyone else) someone has to have a master tier subscription which has a monthly charge. Then, a campaign can be created and any content owned by anyone in that campaign can be shared.
If you have a small number of people playing and they are only missing a few things, homebrew can be created to fill the gaps. Keep in mind though, that official content can't be published, just used by the creator. If no one makes a campaign with the master tier, each player will need to create the missing content as homebrew under their account in order to access it. In other words, if you create it for them, and do not have a campaign set up, they won't be able to access it.
If you create a campaign and invite people, those people will have access to all of their personally owned content and any homebrew content you create.
You as the DM of the campaign, you will be able to access and modify any of your player's character sheets, this includes adding homebrew items.
However, if you don't have a master tier subscription and content sharing enabled, your players will not have access to any official items you have purchased via D&D Beyond.

So basicly without this I can not assign the homebrew created items to the players.
They have to give me their login information and I have to write it for them.
Or can you login on several devices in one account at the same time? If I and my party share the character sheets in one account I can assign it?
Wow, is this complicated If I don't want to spend money because I have the hardcovers already.
Here is how it works.
