Time to start posting a lot of random stuff to get them fancy titles! Or maybe take it slow and let them seep in as time passes, that sounds good too..
So would random posts of people stating obvious that are said in the OP's message be from people trying to their post count numbers up to get more titles? Too obvious a post for the title count boost?
Instead of knowing exactly what you have to do to earn specific titles, I think it would be cooler if there weren't any official guidelines as for how to achieve them. That way we might avoid people spamming senseless posts and whatnot only to achieve titles. And it would feel more like an achievement when you actually get a title. An example of a cool title could be the "Explorer" title gained when you have interacted with all elements on the webpage. If there are no official guidelines as for how to get this title or that it even exists, then you may not even know what you did to get it (except for the clue in the name) as you may have unknowingly interacted with all parts of the website over the course of years! It would be so much more unique that way and add so much more satisfaction xD
It is like achievements in a video game, but what I find is I like the original adventurer as it best describes us as players in both D&D and in this adventure called life.
Just joined the forums and this was my first search to figure out how to achieve more forum titles and what the requirements were. Thanks for the information!
Do I have the Adventurer title?
yes
And I cast Heroism on the community.
I didn't do anything with the forums to get adventurer I only bought the players hand book
Well for me this here is post number 130 so I may or may not gain more titles.
Ah, but what title corresponds to what class? There's 12 per level, and there's 12 classes, soooooo......

I like the idea of titles... but I really wish there were some official details on the ins and outs of earning them.

This is very interesting. Hmmm
Guess this counts as one I do wounder if they are going to being in other ways of getting these?
I would love something like this that I could roll unto my campaigns for characters
I believe titles are for people who "post" a lot.
The titles earned by post count are in the very first post of this page.

Pretty cool. A nice nod to AD&D class titles.

Hey where we supposed to get a beta user reward like a title or a avatar?
I thought we did but I can't find it.
So, all I have to do is make pointless posts to "earn" new titles? Seems like a waste.
